Dr. Mikhail Kosiborod
Dr.  Mikhail Kosiborod, M.D., F.A.C.C., F.A.H.A., received his degree from Mount Sinai School of Medicine in New York, NY.  He trained in internal medicine at Yale-New Haven Hospital in New Haven, CT and completed his fellowship in general cardiology, echocardiography and clinical research at Yale University School of Medicine.  He is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease, and Adult Echocardiography.  In addition to clinical practice, he is actively involved in clinical cardiovascular research with emphasis on diabetes and how its management impacts cardiovascular events.  He is actively involved in multiple committees of the American Heart Association and American College of Cardiology, and has authored numerous scientific publications.  Dr. Kosiborod currently resides in Kansas City, Missouri, practices cardiology at Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart and Vascular Institute, Saint Luke’s Health System, and is an Associate Professor of Medicine at the University of Missouri, Kansas City.

He leads a team of visiting cardiologists for The Heart Health Centre in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands.

Dr. Carlos Rivas-Gotz
Dr. Carlos Rivas-Gotz completed medical school at the Universidad Central de Venezuela in his native Caracas, Venezuela.  He came to the United States in 1994 and became a post-doctoral research fellow at Yale University, Vascular Cell Biology Laboratory under Dr. Bauer Sumpio.   Subsequently, he completed internship, residency and Chief Medical Residency in Internal Medicine at The University of Connecticut School of Medicine in Farmington, CT.  Dr. Rivas-Gotz then went to Houston, TX where he completed a Fellowship in Cardiology at Baylor College of Medicine and has been practicing clinical adult Cardiology since 2002, with special interest in cardiac imaging.  Currently, he practices Cardiology at Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart & Vascular Institute, Kansas City, MO and is a part of the team of visiting cardiologists to The Heart Health Centre, Grand Cayman.Dr. Rivas is board certified in Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Medicine.

Dr. A. Iain McGhie
Dr. Iain McGhie received his degrees of M.B. Ch.B. and M.D. from the University of Glasgow, Scotland, U.K.  He trained in internal medicine and cardiology at the Royal Infirmary, Glasgow. Dr McGhie moved permanently to the U.S. in 1991 to join the faculty of the University of Texas in Houston.  In 1998, he moved to Saint Luke’s Mid-America Heart & Vascular Institute in Kansas City, Missouri where he is currently a consulting cardiologist and Professor of Medicine at the University of Missouri – Kansas City. He is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases, as well as certified in the sub-specialties of Nuclear Cardiology, and Cardiac Computed Tomography.  In addition to his clinical practice and teaching, Dr. McGhie is actively involved in multiple committees both locally and nationally, including the American Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He has published numerous scientific publications and authored a book on non-invasive imaging as well as several book chapters.He is a part of the team of visiting cardiologists for The Heart Health Centre in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands.

Dr. Ibrahim Saeed
Dr. Ibrahim M. Saeed completed an Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency at the University of Texas in Houston and a fellowship in Adult Cardiovascular Diseases at Washington University in St. Louis where he joined the faculty with major responsibilities for the cardiac MRI program.

Dr. Saeed currently resides in Mission Hills, Kansas and practices cardiology at Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart & Vascular Institute.  His primary focus is to build their first cardiac MRI program and practice clinical cardiology.  He has a keen interest in the evaluation of valvular heart disease, diseases of the aorta, and cardiomyopathies using cardiac MRI.

He has also recently joined the visiting team of cardiologists to The Heart Health Centre, Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands.  Dr. Saeed is board certified in Cardiovascular Diseases, Cardiac MRI, Cardiac CT, Echocardiography, and Nuclear Cardiology.

Dr. Chhatriwalla
Dr. Chhatriwalla completed his cardiology training at Cleveland Clinic, Cleveland, OH.  Currently, he practices at Saint Luke’s Mid America Heart & Vascular Institute Kansas City, MO specializing in coronary, structural, and peripheral vascular intervention.  In addition, Dr. Chhatriwalla is actively involved in research specific to interventional techniques/devices and anti-platelet and anti-thrombotic therapy during percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI).  He’s collaborated on the new technology innovation, transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), as part of the PARTNER trial.  With this technology, cardiologists are able to treat patients with aortic stenosis with an artificial aortic valve placed via catheter-based techniques rather than open heart surgery.

He has recently joined the visiting team of cardiologists to The Heart Health Centre in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands.  Dr. Chhatriwalla is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases, and Interventional Cardiology.
